Located in the heart of downtown Davidson, you can cozy up in their wide variety of indoor seating options or get some fresh air while enjoying your favorite coffee beverage with their outdoor patio.     This laid-back, contemporary coffee shop is a must if in Davidson. Enjoy classic coffee beverages or specialty drinks and teas. They also offer non-dairy options like oat milk and almond milk to accommodate your needs.

  • Waterbean Coffee

    Waterbean Coffee believes good ideas start with good coffee! You can find Waterbean Coffee in Cornelius and Huntersville when visiting Lake Norman. The rave about this local coffee shop is its high-quality beverages and friendly service. We recommend the Iced Snickerdoodle!

  • Public Grounds Coffee

    Looking to start your morning off right? Public Grounds Coffee is the place! Located in Old Town Public House, which is near Cornelius Town Hall on East Catawba offers a cozy coffee shop in the morning and beer and live music in the evenings. This is a great spot to gather with others or give yourself some “me-time” in Old Town Cornelius! All the coffee shops listed above are locally owned. Cheers, lake lovers! Looking for the perfect spot to grab a cold one? Lake Norman has an immense variety of local breweries that offer many options from citrusy to dark and roastery beer to even smooth, bold wines.

  • King Canary Brewing

    This craft brewpub on Lake Norman is located in Mooresville, NC. They offer a wide range of styles, but also try to focus on their favorite styles! They do a number of IPA’s, fruited sours, dessert-inspired stouts, and everything in between. Taproom and to-go beer hours are Tuesday-Thursday from 4-10 p.m., Saturday from noon-11p.m., and Sunday noon-8 p.m.

    Did you know there is a food hall right outside of the Lake Norman area? Optimist Hall is a MUST when staying at one of our vacation rental properties! From a wide range of dining options to some cool bars and fun specialty shops, it’s a place where you can either hang by yourself or with friends and family. Optimist Hall, located at 1115 N. Brevard St., Charlotte, NC 28206, used to be a former textile mill that occupied one of the largest gingham factories in the country.
